The Petrilli Agriturismo is located in Flumeri, a city known for its oil and the famous wheat tower built during the festival of S. Rocco. The wheat lily, a structure shaped like an obelisk about 30 meters high, is erected every year by the inhabitants of Flumeri starting from the month of July and is completed on the occasion of the S. Rocco holiday on August 15th. On this day, through ropes, the lily is moved from one point to another in the city. The exciting lifting usually takes place on August 8th, with the help of ropes, ladders, and the participation of the entire Flumeri community. Not far from Flumeri, it is possible to visit small villages that seem frozen in time, such as Trevico, a city that was also visited by the Latin poet Horace, located 1100 meters above sea level from which you can admire both the Tyrrhenian and Adriatic seas, or Zungoli with its suggestive castle. During the summer, the folklore of the most varied festivals colors the picturesque villages of Irpinia every evening. At the national level, the Wine Fair of Taurasi is particularly renowned.
