The Valle dell'Acanto farmhouse takes its name from the natural environment of the valley where it is located, where the presence of acanthus leaves inspired its name. This structure, in typical Mediterranean style, dates back to the late 1800s and was originally a farmhouse, although settlements in the area date back much earlier. In fact, a cave has been discovered that was used as a place of worship in the past and has had various uses over the centuries.
The tranquility, peace, and silence make Valle dell'Acanto a small oasis ideal for those who wish to enjoy a place surrounded by untouched nature. However, in just a few minutes by car, you can reach the golden beaches of the Iblean coast and the Baroque cities of Modica, Scicli, and Ragusa Ibla. Here, you can taste the famous Modica chocolate, sip an almond milk beverage, or eat a brioche with mulberry granita.
Accommodation at the "Valle dell'Acanto" farmhouse offers different options, including studios (with a single room on the ground floor), one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. The apartments, which can accommodate from 2 to 6 people, are equipped with a fully equipped kitchenette, a living room with a separate entrance, and an upstairs bedroom with wooden beam ceilings. Each unit has heating, air conditioning, a bathroom with a shower, and bed and bath linen.
Outside, next to each accommodation, there is a space equipped with a pergola, table, and chairs, ideal for socializing and relaxing while enjoying a glass of wine and savoring typical local products.
