Here in the heart of Friuli Venezia Giulia region, among vineyards and wineries of the Right Banks area of River Tagliamento, lies our English-style family home. We can accommodate you in a comfortable double room en-suite with private entrance.

A delicious breakfast starts with cereals, milk or yogurt. On the table, you will always find orange juice, biscuits, a sweet surprise, fruit, and a plate of typical cold cuts and cheeses from our area.
You can enjoy slices of warm and crispy bread accompanied by butter and homemade jam, made with our garden fruits (or our friends' garden!).
In addition, you will have coffee (moka or long, English style), milk, cocoa, and a wide selection of teas and herbal infusions (you can choose from at least 12 flavors, with or without teine), all from England.

We have always been passionate about traveling in Central-Northern Europe, and in particular, about Britain and everything that is British.
With our two daughters living abroad, one in Scotland and the other one in Senegal, we are definitely a "dynamic" family.
We enjoy packing our bags, and there is always a trip waiting to be taken..
We collect old chinas, sheffields and objects exclusively British:
our hunting goes on along our frequent trips throughout Great Britain and then..we enjoy participating as exhibitors in some local markets.
We are also part of an amateur theatrical-musical company in our town,
and this activity also gives us a lot of satisfaction.
The Cottage B&B lies in CASARSA della DELIZIA, a countryside village, which is the birthplace of writer/poet Pierpaolo Pasolini, in an area rich in vineyards and wineries and centrally located to reach, by car or train, all the most interesting places of Friuli Venezia Giulia region, Venice and Eastern Veneto, as well as the borders of Austria and Slovenia, all within 80 km.
CASARSA della DELIZIA is located 13 km from Pordenone and 35 km from Udine, two towns with pleasant and ancient historical centres.
FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA is a small region but a great array of landscapes and places to visit is waiting for you:
you will never be too far from any place of interest!
In our town, you can visit the Family House of the great and tormented writer/poet/artist PIER PAOLO PASOLINI
and maybe bring a rose to his tomb, located in the local cemetery and close to his mother's tomb.
It is also possible to follow the PASOLINIAN ITINERARIES through the countryside and the beloved villages
that have served as a backdrop and marked the life of young Pier Paolo.
If, instead, you are interested in wines, vineyards, and high-quality local cheeses and cured meats, you will find what you are looking for in our area (and in the region) !
Casarsa della Delizia is also the site of the great WINE and SPRING FESTIVAL: in 2024, the 76th edition will take place from April 24th to May 6th.
A SHORT DISTANCE AWAY: the small and charming historical centres of SAN VITO al TAGLIAMENTO, VALVASONE, and CORDOVADO.
IN THE SURROUNDINGS: the imposing VILLA MANIN in Passariano, with its park, and the surprising benedictine ABBEY of SANTA MARIA in SYLVIS in Sesto al Reghena.
And then the famous home of the FRECCE TRICOLORI in Rivolto, SPILIMBERGO with its renowned Mosaic School, and MANIAGO with its Blade Museum.
SAN DANIELE del FRIULI is worth a visit, known especially for its raw ham,
and also FAGAGNA and MORUZZO with their unexpected panoramas from the top of the gentle morainic hills.
From CASARSA della DELIZIA, you can reach the LIGNANO BEACHES and the PIANCAVALLO MOUNTAINS/SKI SLOPES by car, in about 45 minutes,
the romantic LAKE of BARCIS, the PRADIS CAVES, and characteristic villages such as POFFABRO and POLCENIGO.
Not to be forgotten: the bastions and the large square of PALMANOVA, the MARANO LAGOON with its typical "casoni" houses, and the archaeological site of AQUILEIA!
A LITTLE FURTHER: VENZONE, the COLLIO and the COLLI ORIENTALI, CIVIDALE del FRIULI, the MIRAMARE CASTLE, the CARSO and the Mitteleuropean TRIESTE..
