In the heart of the picturesque historic center of Lecce, between the two main attractions, Piazza del Duomo and Piazza Sant'Oronzo, there is an ancient small palace within a splendid courtyard. This is where "Signuria" was born. In the Salento region, the poetic expression in dialect "Signuria" was used to address adults as a sign of respect and reverence. It is precisely the meaning of this term that inspired the name of this structure. Thanks to careful restoration, the impressive star-shaped vaults made of local Lecce stone have been preserved, which also inspired the creation of the logo. The purpose of Signuria is to immerse guests in the typical atmosphere of Salento, allowing them to enjoy the spacious terrace, which offers a view of the dome and bell tower of the Cathedral, transformed into a hanging garden. Despite being located in the heart of the city, Signuria is strategically positioned to avoid being disturbed by the nighttime chaos. The rooms have been carefully designed to offer our guests maximum comfort, physical well-being, and visual harmony.
