Country House in Siniscola in the countryside

Situated on a beautiful hilly terrain of approximately thirty hectares, the Puntalizzu Agriturismo, which opened its doors in 1993, is located in the territory of Siniscola, in Sardinia, just four kilometers from the city, towards Santa Lucia.

This farmhouse was born with the intention of the founding family to preserve and pass on the local culinary traditions, which have been handed down from generation to generation.

Thanks to the experience gained over the years, the Company has developed a gastronomic standard based on the freshness of the products and the simplicity of the preparations, values that have allowed them to obtain recognition from the prestigious national food and wine magazine "Il Gambero Rosso" in 1995.

The company produces most of the products it uses: from pork and sheep meat, to cheese, ricotta, and eggs. Even the pasta is handmade according to traditions and hygienic criteria. In addition, they produce their own wine, myrtle liqueur, and limoncello, as well as delicious typical desserts.

The accommodations offered by the company are equipped with a kitchenette and all necessary amenities. Upon request, it is possible to have a third and fourth bed, as well as cribs and baby cots.

Our breakfast

The breakfast at our bed and breakfast will allow you to discover the true essence of Sardinia, with a selection of natural and local products. The table is filled with a variety of sweet and savory dishes, carefully prepared by the owner's sister and mother. You can taste ricotta cakes, fruit cakes, tarts, and chocolate cakes, as well as the typical sos papassinos, made with shortcrust pastry and nuts, which are traditional during the period of the dead. During carnival, you can sample the delicious sas orilletas, twisted pastries with honey. And for Easter, you won't be able to resist the sas casatinas, with pasta and cheese or ricotta.

Furthermore, breakfast offers a unique opportunity to discover the gastronomic treasures of Sardinia. You can savor our delicious homemade honey, artisanal orange and pompìa jams and preserves, a typical citrus fruit from Siniscola, recognized as a slow food presidium.

Every morning, we buy fresh bread from local bakeries, which is served along with the famous carasatu bread, a must for lovers of Sardinian bread. You will have fruit juices, butter, cereals, and delicious chocolate creams at your disposal. Additionally, you can enjoy seasonal fruit and, for those with a savory palate, our local products such as cold cuts and cheeses. Upon request, scrambled eggs, pancakes, and savory pies can also be provided, depending on the availability of the kitchen. Of course, coffee, cappuccino, tea, and all the classic breakfast beverages will not be missing.

Restaurant

In the vibrant heart of our farmhouse, the culinary art is celebrated with a vibrant tribute to the Sardinian land. At the center of each dish, the products of our own land triumph: an excellent quality extra virgin olive oil, essence of taste and soul of our local recipes.

From the land to the table, our olives, fruits and vegetables are transformed into true symphonies of flavors. The pasta, handmade following ancient traditions, evokes those genuine tastes, now rare in modern kitchens. In this dance of authenticity, the "Sos macarrones de punzu", known as malloreddos, and our ravioli - "Sos anzelotos de recotu" and "Sos anzelotos de casu" - stand out, traditional doughs that embrace rich and succulent fillings.

Another culinary wonder is the vratàtu bread, prepared with carasau bread immersed in meat broth and served with a rich sauce and pecorino cheese. Sa Supa Siniscolesa, a historic dish served at weddings, enhances the use of stale bread in an aromatic sheep broth.

On Thursdays, our baker creates Sa Lorica, a cylindrical bread that becomes the base for Sa Supa, a dish that is slowly cooked over hot coals and marries perfectly with a robust Cannonau wine.

Our suckling pig meat, roasted on a spit and served in traditional containers, stands out for its crispy skin and delicate taste, which is further enhanced with aromatic myrtle or rosemary, while the sheep meat, accompanied by a rich broth, reveals an intensity of flavors that pairs splendidly with a soft Carignano del Sulcis.

Finally, our Cannonau wine, produced on the premises, is joined this year by Vermentino, the first white DOCG wine from Sardinia, expanding our wine list to explore and celebrate native varieties and new wine experiments. In our farmhouse, every meal is a journey into the Sardinian gastronomic heritage, offering our guests an unparalleled culinary experience.
