Poecylia is born from an organic project that combines respect for nature, love for art, and philosophical inquiry. I wanted to bring back to life a lifestyle from another era and offer guests the pleasure of simple things. Poecylia focuses on discreet elegance without excess and a fusion with nature. A mix of glamour and authentic spirit...
Guests have access to an infinite garden that originates upstream from the polychrome stones of ochre, jasper, and manganese from the ancient mines of Becco and flows into the Mediterranean Sea through lush vegetation and fuchsia, purple, and orange bougainvillea, with the spectacular and incredible cliff and exclusive Jurassic pebble beach. It is here, in the last century, that the renowned German writer and philosopher Ernst Junger came to study and swim naked. Junger was a lover of Sardinia, Carloforte, and the island of San Pietro. Numerous natural solariums are scattered from the rooms to the sea. Vast and diverse spaces.
During the vacation, guests only need to find their exclusive corner of paradise, at dawn or sunset, or at night, under a roof of stars. Poecylia is the gateway to Infinity.
Poecylia is a technology-free residence, a true digital detox. Poecylia guarantees the cleanliness and disinfection of rooms and common areas according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization. Furthermore, one very important thing: to ensure maximum safety between guests upon arrival and departure, and the best and most accurate disinfection possible, the check-in of new guests is never done on the same day as the check-out of guests leaving the same room, but only the following day. This way, Poecylia, while sacrificing the income from same-day stays, ensures an exceptional level of safety resulting from the thorough cleaning of the room left by the previous guests.
In all bedrooms and adjacent living areas, there is no telephone line, cell phone connection, internet, or wifi.
Free wifi and telephone line are only available in the breakfast area.
Cellular signal depends on the provider and is always far from the rooms.
The rooms, with private bathrooms, are located in the upper part from which, through a short path, you can access the splendid cliff where breakfast is served in a charming natural environment.
The rooms, all double, are simple and essential, deliberately monastic, in typical Mediterranean style.
The furnishings are essential, part of a personal life journey.
