Area Piazza Del Campo

The B&B Palazzo Masi is located in the heart of the historic center of Siena, precisely in the central Casato di Sotto, an ancient noble street named after the series of noble palaces that line it. The Casato is considered "the heart of the quintessence of Sienese culture," as written by the famous writer Mario Luzi. This area is famous for its view of Piazza del Campo, where the Palio, a historic event known worldwide, is held on July 2 and August 16. The B&B is located in the Third of the City, the oldest part, included within the first medieval city walls, near the Cathedral and in front of the prestigious Accademia Musicale Chigiana. The outer corner of the Palace overlooks Vicolo di San Salvadore, a continuous destination for tourists and artists, offering one of the most spectacular and suggestive views of the city: the Romanesque basilica of the Servants.
