The bay of Mattinata, in the heart of the Gargano National Park, represents a starting point for enjoying an all-round holiday between sea, gastronomy, history and nature.
We are located 350m from the beach and 1km from the marina, the starting point for boat trips, independently or on boats with about 30 seats. The mountainous hinterland holds many surprises for nature and history lovers! In half an hour you can reach the majestic beech trees of the Umbra Forest, or climb the sacred mountain, to the Basilica of S. Michele Arcangelo in the splendid town of Monte S. Angelo. The coast between Mattinata and Vieste is a succession of bays and coves, stacks and white cliffs painted by the green of the Aleppo pines!
