Situated in an area of great historical interest, rich in cultural and culinary itineraries, Artemisia takes its name from the goddess Artemis, the goddess of hunting, wildlife, forests, and the countryside, as well as the personification of the "crescent moon". From the goddess, Artemisia takes elegance and majesty, but also the pleasure of reliving times long gone, made of nature, passion, and humble fieldwork. Completely renovated and tastefully furnished, the property is immersed in charming centuries-old olive groves and offers you the opportunity to spend pleasant moments, like in an oasis, full of peace and tranquility away from the city chaos, surrounded by an atmosphere rich in charm and tradition, which only an ancient Salento farmhouse can offer you.

Since 2019, the establishment has been enhanced by the brand new Macara restaurant inside, where you can taste dishes from the Salento tradition enriched by the creativity and imagination of our young Chef Stefano. The restaurant offers both land and sea dishes, rigorously prepared with fresh and seasonal ingredients, as well as excellent pizza.
At Artemisia, discovering Salento is much easier. From the structure, you can easily reach the splendid beaches of Gallipoli and Otranto, the breathtaking cliffs and caves of Santa Maria di Leuca's coastline.
In addition to the magnificent Ponte Ciolo, Castro Marina, Porto Selvaggio and its nature reserve, Porto Miggiano, Santa Cesarea Terme and the Punta della Suina and Punta Pizzo coastline.
