Located on the 6th floor of a historic building, the Arlecchino and Vesuvio apartments are just a few steps away from Via Duomo, a 19th-century street with one of the highest densities of museums in the world. Important buildings, the impressive Cathedral, and 8 museums representing everything from archaeology to sacred art, from Baroque to contemporary, create a unique setting along this artery that connects the city center to the sea. Additional charm is provided by the artisan workshops and bridal boutiques, showcasing the ancient Neapolitan tailoring art. The apartment is centrally and strategically located in the historic center (declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1995), just minutes away from the Naples subway station, LINE 1, which has been declared by The Daily Telegraph and CNN as the most beautiful in Europe. It is also within walking distance of Corso Umberto I, a lively street for quality shopping, where we are introduced to Borgo Orefici, where the tradition and art of Neapolitan goldsmithing continue. It is a 10-minute walk from the historic Decumanus, which still bears witness to the Greek layout of the city, and from the Port of Naples with its ferry terminal, connecting the city to maritime routes and the discovery of the three islands of the Gulf and beyond.

Our guests can immerse themselves in a journey steeped in religiosity, ancient history, and flavors along Via Duomo.. access to the Upper Decumanus, the ancient heart of Neapolis. We cross Piazza San Gaetano (where you can taste the Neapolitan liqueur "limoncello" and typical sweets), the ancient Greek agora, then the Roman forum, a social center until the 15th century. We discover the urban identity of the square and let ourselves be enchanted by the splendor of the architecture of the churches of San Lorenzo Maggiore and San Paolo Maggiore. From the present to a past of over two thousand years: the presence of the city in the archaeological excavations of San Lorenzo. We continue along the Decumanus, passing artisan workshops, cafes with ancient traditions, and sumptuous palaces until we reach Via San Gregorio Armeno: immersed in a lively crowd, history continues in the magnificent portals of the palaces, in the richness of antique shops, and in the contrasts between the noisy outside world and the silent cloistered churches.

And then we encounter the artistic craftsmanship of San Gregorio Armeno, where the faces of the famous "shepherds" evoke life and religiosity, always wonderfully suspended between the sacred and the profane, and even the representation of a people in search of themselves and their own representation, immersing themselves in their own introspection not only in the everyday aspects of life but also in the spiritual ones, touching their deep pagan roots.
