In a splendid historical residence, some rooms used as a Bed and Breakfast are ready to welcome you during your journey, to spend a pleasant vacation, go on excursions in the surroundings, or stay overnight outside the city after a day of work. Within Casa Mantegazza, the Bed and Breakfast offers three rooms, two spacious double rooms and one single room, all equipped with a private bathroom with shower. If necessary, additional accommodations for adults and children are available. This house has a fascinating history: originally it was a convent of the Sisters of Santa Radegona, then it passed to the Fathers of San Luigi in 1580. Subsequently, it was the residence of various noble and bourgeois families. The last owner, who passed away without heirs, donated it to the Ospedale Maggiore of Milan in 1834, which used it as an Agricultural Factory and the factor's house. In 1986, our family purchased it at a public auction from the Hospital and it became our home. From our B&B, you can easily reach Milan, the Rho Fair, and Malpensa Airport, as well as embark on excursions in the wonderful surrounding area: you can visit the Ticino of Abbiategrasso, the Abbey of Morimondo, Vigevano and Pavia, or reach the enchanting Lake Maggiore through the cycle path.
