Welcome to Logge di Sopra, a family-run bed and breakfast located in the beautiful Tuscan countryside, in the heart of the Crete Senesi. The property is situated on the famous panoramic road "Lauretana", known for its ancient white hills. Thanks to its strategic location, it is the ideal place for a quick tour or a week full of meaningful experiences, including nature, history, culture, gastronomy, and oenology.
The structure has been obtained from a former farmhouse dating back to 1500, recently expertly renovated in respect of the original line and ancient traditions.
The old cellar has been transformed into three comfortable rooms and two bright and climatically comfortable apartments, thanks to the external walls of about 40-50 cm, guaranteeing our guests natural and pleasant air conditioning in summer (heated with customizable temperatures in winter), as well to tranquility and privacy.
Logge di Sopra is also ideal for a winter holiday, thanks to the proximity of the always open thermal centers of Rapolano Terme, just ten minutes away.
The welcoming and family-friendly structure offers its guests all the necessary comforts for a pleasant holiday in the Tuscan countryside. Our garden, meticulously maintained, houses a swimming pool and a solarium with a panoramic view, the perfect place to relax.
Guests can enjoy local culinary specialties at the "conventioned" trattorias with the B&B, such as ribollita, pici with wild boar, chickpea or spelt soups with porcini, Florentine steak and white truffle from the Crete Senesi.
We also offer free private indoor parking with automatic gate for the total comfort of our guests.
The buffet breakfast includes coffee, milk, tea, bread, rusks, homemade cakes, butter, jam of our production, biscuits, freshly baked croissants, fruit juices, fresh fruit, yogurt and some typical local delicatessen products, such as Tuscan ham and pecorino from the Crete Senesi. Breakfast is served partly as a buffet and partly on order, on outdoor tables under a pergola, spaced out and assigned to each room. If it's cold or raining, it will be served in a large room of 60 square meters.

The double bedroom, furnished in a rustic style, with a four-poster bed, welcoming and private, has a private internal bathroom (with shower, hairdryer, courtesy kit) with separate dressing room, minibar, electric kettle, color TV with satellite decoder, set of bed linen and towels (free daily change of towels on request, for a fee and further changes on request), heating, internet WI-FI, table and mosquito nets on the windows.
Our 2 rooms that can accommodate up to 4 people are furnished in rustic style, with double bed and single beds (in one room, n.1, there is a bunk bed, while in the other room, a fixed bed and need a single bed). They are both welcoming and reserved, each equipped with a private bathroom (with shower, hairdryer, courtesy kit), private interior with separate dressing room, minibar, electric kettle, color TV with satellite decoder, bed linen and towels (change of towels daily free on request, for a fee and further changes on request), heating, internet WI-FI, table and mosquito nets on the windows.
The apartments, furnished in the Tuscan style, with rustic flooring and chestnut beams, are both made up of a living-room with cooking area (with 2/4 gas rings, refrigerator, electric oven and crockery) and a comfortable double sofa bed, a double room and a bathroom (with shower, hairdryer and courtesy kit) and a separate bath anteroom. The rate includes: taxes, TV with SAT decoder (DVB-S), bed and bath linen (free of charge bath linen change after 3 nights and bed linen change after 7 nights; other changes on request, at extra charge), hairdryer and olive oil courtesy kit, electric kettle, final cleaning (cleaning every day on request), kitchen utilisation, energy consumptions, outdoor barbecue, internet WI-FI, swimming-pool. The rooms are fresh and comfortable also if there isn’t air conditioning, and they offer a "natural" fresh thanks to the accurate renovation and thanks to the exterior walls very large (approx 50 cm). Extra: - Gas consumptions for heating are by gaz meter (5,50 €/m3: about from 2,00 to 12,00 euro/daily); - If the kitchen and the dishes are left clean and tidy as you find them at the check-in we will not charge you any extra fee; otherwise 40,00 euro will be invoiced at the check-out;
After managing a grocery store for several years, I had the opportunity to renovate a portion of a 16th-century farmhouse and turn it into a B&B with three rooms and two apartments on the ground floor.
