Our property
Our large house, located a few meters from the Po river and immersed in the countryside of Mantova, has been renovated to bring our dream to life: a Bed & Breakfast of our own. We have refurbished two double rooms, both equipped with a private bathroom, TV, heating, air conditioning, and an independent entrance. This is an ideal destination for romantic couples and families. In both rooms, it is possible to add 1 or 2 extra beds.

You will be hosted by Chiara
We are a big family composed of three generations. From Grandfather Romolo, a farmer and beekeeper, and Grandmother Assunta, an unbeatable teacher of gardening, vegetable patches, cakes and biscuits, to Riccardo, the youngest member of the family.
In the middle, there are us, Chiara and Valerio. A former banker officer and a former financial consultant, perfect examples of our passion for hospitality.
Here, we have our roots. Here, you will have our attention. You will feel the warmth of our carefully detailed rooms, the taste of generous homemade breakfasts, and the untouched peace of our countryside.
Area countryside
Near Mantova, an artistic city that is the cradle of the Gonzaga family, just a few steps away from the Po river and the Oglio Sud park, towards the WWF oasis "Le Bine". A few kilometers away are Sabbioneta, a small Renaissance ideal city, and the Polirone Abbey in San Benedetto Po, a reference point in the Middle Ages like Cluny, and later became a possession of Matilde di Canossa. In just a few minutes by car, you can also reach the Mincio park.
Also worthy of a visit are the Boat Bridge in Torre d'Oglio, the Castiglioni Court of the '500, owned by Baldassarre Castiglioni, author of "Il Cortegiano" and the Austrian Fort of Borgoforte.
Across the Po river, not less worthy of mention, are the small reggiani towns such as Luzzara, the birthplace of screenwriter and director Cesare Zavattini, with its naive museum; Guastalla, a ducal city of Ferrante Gonzaga; Gualtieri with its splendid Bentivoglio Square and the museum dedicated to the works of Antonio Ligabue, and finally Brescello, the hometown of Don Camillo and Peppone, with a museum dedicated to them.
