The house externally features numerous stones embedded in the walls, Roman inscriptions. They were discovered by grandfather Marino Macor, who was a passionate collector of Roman artifacts, eventually creating a small private collection available for everyone to see. Now, most of the artifacts are displayed in the archaeological museum. Stones are the subject of study, in fact, it is common to receive visits from historians, students, and enthusiasts.
"On foot, you can easily visit Aquileia with its Basilica, museums, and ongoing excavations. There are several restaurants and farm stays where you can taste typical local dishes. A visit to the wineries with a tasting of the wines produced in this area is a must-do. Equally important is the convenience of having Berto's market right nearby. "
