Histon Residence is located within the ancient Caldoresco Castle, one of the most representative monuments in the city of Vasto. Situated right in the historic center, the castle was built in 1439 on the remains of a previous fortification. Once an imposing witness to military exploits, it is now a residential building. It truly is an exceptional location where you can savor the charm and atmosphere of the past, perfect for those who wish to explore the highlights of the historic center. Legend has it that Diomede, the king of Epirus, after the siege of Troy, landed with his troops and founded several cities in southern Italy. During his travels, the commander was struck by the splendid Gulf of the current city of Vasto and the promontory that dominates it, so similar to Mount Histone in Corfu, which he named Histon. Welcome to HISTON RESIDENCE. Each suite is independent and consists of an entrance, breakfast area, wardrobe, double bed, private bathroom, TV, Wi-Fi, minibar, Illy coffee machine, tea, chamomile, ginseng, barley, hot and cold cappuccino machine, air conditioning.

We are Paola and Davide, a young couple who have decided to harness our shared passion to create something unique. Drawing from our diverse professional experiences, we have chosen to combine our strengths and divide our tasks. Davide takes care of design, renovation, and all bureaucratic matters, while Paola focuses on furnishing, interiors, and hospitality. The outcome? A self-sustained and meticulously crafted "hospitality" experience, complete with mirrors and frames that evoke the charm of the sea.
Our establishment is located in the heart of the city, within the majestic Caldoresco Castle. We are in the historic center, a charming pedestrian area, surrounded by shops, cafes, and restaurants. We are proud to present our restaurant, Dama, located next to our B&B. Here you can delight your taste buds with our delicious breakfasts and, if you wish, lunch and dinner as well.
