Our cozy Bed and Breakfast is located in a charming historic building, situated in the heart of Como, a short distance from the lake and the city's historical center. Our rooms, all equipped with private bathrooms, offer an enchanting view of a wonderful inner garden, a true gem for the eyes and the relaxation of our guests. Each room is equipped with air conditioning and Wi-Fi internet connection, and furnished with taste and simplicity: the beds, made with delicate wrought iron from the same residence, the bathrooms covered with refined cement resin, and the floors made of precious reclaimed wood, composed of small skillfully assembled tiles. We hope that the perfect harmony of the materials used can penetrate the souls of our guests, offering them an experience of relaxation and serenity.

When we renovated our home, we decided to create a B&B to offer our guests a place of relaxation for the mind and body. Our goal was to create a revitalizing atmosphere for our guests, and we took advantage of a special location: a historic palace just steps away from the lake. But the real gem is the magnificent inner garden, which overlooks the rooms, offering an oasis of greenery and tranquility. In the morning, when they wake up, our guests will be greeted by the chirping of the birds that inhabit the garden, wishing them a wonderful day. Our establishment, called La Canarina, is named after the canaries that used to live in an old pet shop on the ground floor.

Area city center

The structure is located just 50 meters from the Como Lago train station of Ferrovie Nord Milano (Malpensa Express) and about 1500 meters from the Como San Giovanni train station of Ferrovie dello Stato. Even the laziest guests will be able to explore the city on foot and fully enjoy it: they can admire the Duomo, attend a show at the Teatro Sociale, visit the Casa del Fascio by Terragni, a master of rationalism, stroll through the Città Murata, the historic core full of palaces and courtyards from different eras, and shop in the numerous stores that offer all kinds of products. Furthermore, in the immediate vicinity, there are the Ferrovie Nord Milano train station, the Funicular to Brunate, and the boarding area for boats. We strongly recommend our guests to treat themselves to a pleasant boat trip to discover and appreciate our enchanting lake, which continues to surprise and fascinate us every day.
