Our Bed and Breakfast is located in Margno, a sunny mountain village situated at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level in Valsassina, in the Orobian Pre-Alps. This lush valley runs parallel to Lake Como, separated from it by the majestic mountain massif of Grigne, famous all over the world for its ferratas and climbing routes. But don't worry, there are excursions suitable for everyone in the area, from the easiest ones for families with small children, such as those to Pian delle Betulle, reachable from Margno by cable car. During the five-minute ride, you can admire Grigna, Monte Muggio, its valley, and Legnone, which separates us from Valtellina. Once you reach the panoramic terrace of the cable car, you can enjoy the view of Lake Como, a slice of Lake Lugano, and, on clear days, the Monte Rosa. Lake Como's eastern shore is just a few kilometers away and can be reached by car in 15/20 minutes through Val Muggiasca, where the Pioverna stream flows and forms the famous Orrido in Bellano. Varenna, with its castle of Vezio, shops, and hotels frequented by foreigners, is the starting point for lake excursions with the ferry to Bellagio and the western shore of the lake.
