The abundant breakfast, both sweet and savory, is carefully prepared every morning and includes homemade and regional products, as well as fruits and vegetables from the garden. During the nice season, breakfast is served on the balcony, allowing you to admire the view of the lakes and surrounding mountains.

My name is Maurizia and I have been managing Il Picchio since its opening in 2007. My family consists of me and my husband Giovanni, along with our children Giulia and Lorenzo, and our dog Maggie. I am a cheerful and discreet person, I love walking, especially in the mountains. In my free time, I enjoy playing sports, listening to music, gardening, and reading. I adore baking sweets, both for myself and to offer to my guests! I also really enjoy traveling and I am curious to learn not only about new places, but also about different cultures, customs, and traditions.
