The two-story building that hosts us has the characteristics of the ancient Campidanese manor houses: it retains the environments and the main elements with exposed stone walls, has a living room with a wooden ceiling, and enjoys ample brightness. To this original structure, we have added all the comforts to offer an excellent quality service.
The systems have been carried out in strict respect of the environment, using alternative energies and bio-building products: these are ideas that I have believed in for years and that I made mine even before thinking about this house as a Bed & Breakfast.
Heating and air conditioning are obviously present, but they work with photovoltaic solar panels and recycling of rainwater for the irrigation of the garden and the synergistic vegetable garden.
Despite being located on the main street of the village, the house is very quiet and allows its welcome guests to spend their days in peace and serenity, immersed in the lush nature of the garden, in a pleasant environment that refreshes the spirit like nothing else. I like people in my house to feel at home.
Thanks to agronomist Maurizio Fadda, my "synergistic" vegetable garden guarantees organic vegetables and fruit without chemicals for summer and autumn. To avoid polluting, I choose food products whose transportation must tend towards "zero km", that's why I prefer to buy Sardinian products: they guarantee quality, genuineness and do not weigh on the environment by traveling thousands of kilometers.
The most ecological means of transport available to customers: bicycles.
The current garden was designed and is still curated by a very talented and passionate local floriculturist, who tried to reproduce what was my childhood garden.
With my collaboration, he replanted some plant species that were present then and that bring back beautiful memories, from the scent of jasmine to roses; and since I love natural fragrances very much, I specifically bought the famous roses from Bulgaria with their renowned scent. Finally, considering that the area is rich in even centuries-old olive trees, I planted these beautiful and symbolic trees in various parts of the house.
