The location is truly enviable: just a 1-minute walk from the sea, in the heart of Portovecchio (with shops, restaurants, and bars within 200 meters) and, strolling along the promenade, a few steps from the beautiful pine forest and the Cala de' Medici marina. Castiglioncello, with its enchanting bays and coves, is a true treasure nestled along the Etruscan coast. Throughout the coastline, you will find numerous beach resorts, but there are also free beaches, which are a great alternative for those who prefer not to rent an umbrella. Right below our hotel, you will find the Portovecchio Bay, where there are two areas of free beach: the first is a concrete platform where you can set up your umbrella in the designated holes, the second is a beautiful beach of golden sand that stretches between the Etruria Baths and the Sports Fishing Club. You can go from the coolness of the historic Marradi Pine Forest directly to the sea thanks to two small stairways: the first will lead you to the pebble and sand beach of La Rava, located between the Tre Scogli Baths and the Conchiglia Baths, the second will take you directly from the Cardellino solarium terrace to a small free beach with pebbles and rocks.
