A charming place, overlooking the splendid bay of Sant'Angelo d'Ischia, a delightful corner of sea and rock. Hotel Casa Rosa is like a terrace suspended over the sea, where you can forget all your worries, immerse yourself in the thermal waters, and be enveloped by the blue color of the sea and the scent of citrus. Its peaceful location in the pedestrian area and private access to the sea, available at any time, allow you to experience a unique experience.
Our 3-star hotel has been run by the same family for four generations, and the atmosphere will make you feel like you're at home, in a seaside house surrounded by family. Casa Rosa has remained true to its origins since 1950, it is not a villa or a resort, but simply a home where you can still breathe the scent of lemon and orange groves, with flowers that grow spontaneously, just like in our grandmothers' seaside homes.
It is a Mediterranean house with all its bright and vibrant colors, which fishermen spot from afar and recognize as a safe harbor. This Mediterranean atmosphere is also captured by the paintings in the rooms, painted by Maestro Manuel Di Chiara, who has created a journey through the "Mare Nostrum" for us.
We have thought of everything to make your vacation in Sant'Angelo d'Ischia even easier and more enjoyable: sea view rooms, thermal baths and wellness center on site, private access to the sea, a garden with a thousand colors, yoga and pilates classes, excursions by sea and land, and at any time, your favorite drinks and culinary delights for your palate.
You can also play table tennis or foosball, go for a run on the treadmill, and upon your arrival at the entrance of the village, we offer you free transportation in an electric taxi to the hotel in the pedestrian area.

For lunch, we recommend enjoying local specialties on our panoramic terraces, immersed in the beauty of the sea. You can savor fresh and light dishes, such as a tasty plate of fresh fruit or a cup of homemade yogurt. You cannot miss the tomato bruschetta, prosciutto with figs, spaghetti with clams, buffalo mozzarella, and seafood and land fry-ups. For half-board, we welcome you to dinner in our covered restaurant with a panoramic view of the Bay of Maronti, where you can taste traditional Ischia cuisine and the rest of the country, paired with local wines. Don't forget to try the "coniglio all'ischitana" (Ischia-style rabbit) and the mixed fried fish, accompanied by delicious appetizers, vegetables, desserts, and seasonal fruits. Over the years, distinguished figures from the worlds of history, art, and entertainment have had the honor of visiting us, and with the same enthusiasm, we have welcomed families, seniors, and children... Every year, without fail, we have opened the doors of our establishment to a new season, with the hope of giving everyone a smile and an unforgettable experience!
Our founder, beloved grandmother Elena, along with her sons Gennaro and Salvatore, who founded the hotel, are mentioned in the biography of Pablo Neruda, written by Chilean ambassador José Goni in 2018, titled "Pablo and Matilde, the Days of Exile." It appears that Casa Rosa, one of the few guesthouses that offered private bathrooms, hosted the Chilean writer and his wife Matilde for a few days. And not only that, almost incognito, the famous director Leni Riefenstahl, responsible for the 1938 Berlin Olympics, also stayed here at Casa Rosa, although for privacy reasons, we prefer not to disclose any further details about her past.
