The Eliseo Bed & Breakfast, located in the heart of the historic center of Gallicano, one of the picturesque towns of Garfagnana, is a strategic place to explore the wonders of Lucca, Barga and excursions in the Apuan Alps, as well as to discover all the attractions of Garfagnana: from the evocative Grotta del Vento to the magnificent Orecchiella Park, from the charming Lake Vagli to the enchanting Santa Island, not to mention the fascinating towns of Castelnuovo and Castiglione.

The rooms are located on the first and second floors, with independent access from the restaurant, which remains at your disposal on the ground floor.
Each room is equipped with air conditioning, free internet connection, private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries for your comfort.
Our delightful breakfast is provided to our guests from Wednesday to Monday, from 8 to 10. On Tuesday, you can enjoy breakfast from 8 to 9.

Since then, our commitment has remained steadfast in preserving the ancient traditions of Garfagnina cuisine, offering tasty and healthy dishes, with particular attention to the quality of the ingredients.
Every morning, our kitchen fills with the aromas of products grown in our valley. The pasta is hand-prepared, the meat carefully selected by the local butcher, and the fresh trout from Gallicano arrives directly on our work tables.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm, intimate, and family-friendly, thanks to the elegant larch wood cladding that embellishes the walls and furnishings.
The Simonini family, with Franco in the kitchen and the support of Elena, Mario, and Debbie in the dining area, will be delighted to welcome you and let you savor the culinary tradition of the area.
Our story begins in the distant year of 1920, when Eliseo and Zelinda, newlyweds, opened their first small shop. Here they traded flours, rice, beans, and cold cuts, and served cheese, wine, and soups to travelers. Even today, in our menu, you will find these delicious dishes that have stood the test of time.
In 1950, their daughter Assunta, married to Raffaello, renovated the bar and trattoria, specializing in traditional Garfagnana cuisine. Here you can savor tasty homemade pastas, aromatic soups, and flavorful cakes.
In 1978, Assunta, with the help of her sons Franco and Mario, renovated and redecorated the entire establishment, which still retains its original charm to this day. We also began offering guest accommodation services.
In 2014, Elena, Mario's daughter, with the help of the entire family, started the fourth generation of Eliseo, keeping the tradition and recipes of her grandmother Assunta intact. We are proud to carry on our culinary heritage and offer you a unique experience that will make you feel at home.
