Our Bed & Breakfast, "Where Beautiful Italy Begins," is a peaceful oasis located in the picturesque hamlet of Cuzzego di Beura Cardezza, in the heart of the Valgrande National Park. Surrounded by breathtaking mountains, this elegant residence combines historical charm with modern comforts, maintaining the authenticity of a building that reflects the history and local tradition. The surroundings of our B&B offer a rich assortment of cultural and historical activities, from the fascinating paths of the Sacro Monte Calvario, a UNESCO heritage site, to the village of Vogogna, recognized as one of the most beautiful in Italy. History enthusiasts can explore the historic center of Domodossola and the monumental national church of San Gaudenzio in Baceno, not to mention the itineraries that retrace the partisan resistance and Walser culture. For nature lovers, the Valgrande National Park and other nature reserves offer spectacular landscapes and trails, such as the Uriezzo gorges and the Toce waterfall, the highest waterfall in Europe. These natural treasures are also showcased in small thematic museums scattered throughout the region. A short distance from the B&B, guests will find thermal spas and ski slopes, ideal for winter sports enthusiasts. The property offers ample free parking and space to store motorcycles and sports equipment. Our rooms, comfortable and equipped with private bathrooms, retain the ancient charm of the village dairy, dating back to 1874. Each room is equipped with free wifi, a tea kettle, hairdryer, and a selection of books and informational brochures. Every morning, we will delight our guests with a rich and tasty breakfast, and for those who wish to explore the area, Tiziano, the owner and certified hiking guide of the Ossola Protected Areas, is available to organize tailor-made excursions, discovering ancient trails and the rich mountain culture. Area countryside

The Ossola Valley resembles a large Maple leaf, stretching from Lake Maggiore to the northern borders of Italy, with its veins composed of rivers and streams that flow through the valleys and mountains to converge into the Toce River. Divided into Lower Ossola, with its capital in Vogogna (5 minutes from the B&B), and Upper Ossola, with its capital in Domodossola (10 minutes from the B&B), as well as Lake Mergozzo (20 minutes from the B&B), it boasts diverse natural and cultural riches. From the Valgrande National Park, with the marble from the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo in Milan, to the scattered villages in the valleys with over 300 km of well-marked hiking trails, the valleys and mountains, along with the Monte Rosa mountain range that crowns Lake Maggiore, shape a territory that is still intact and little known for its extraordinary peculiarities.
