Area city center

Montà is a charming rural village located in the heart of Roero, just a few kilometers away from the famous cities of Alba and Langhe. The area is well-known for its natural beauty, including the impressive fortresses, forests, vineyards, and chestnut groves that offer a fascinating and enchanting experience. Moreover, the region boasts a valuable gastronomic heritage, including specialties like the typical Roero wines, truffles, hazelnuts, peaches, chestnuts, and honey, representing some of the culinary treasures of Piedmontese cuisine. Another attraction of Montà is the Sanctuary of Piloni, a church dating back to the 15th century that houses paintings and frescoes of great beauty. The surrounding territory of the village also hosts the Rocche del Roero Ecomuseum, a unique experience to discover the history and culture of the territory through thematic paths that wind through the fortresses, forests, vineyards, chestnut groves, and places of worship in the area. Thanks to these paths, you can enjoy splendid walks immersed in nature and discover the richness of local flora and fauna.
