Welcome to Casa Morandi, a place where the history and culture of Bologna come together in perfect harmony.
Casa Morandi has been restored by recovering a section of a farmhouse dating back to 1900.
During the restoration process, which was completed in 2014, we preserved the original features of the building, respecting historical constraints, and made all the necessary improvements to ensure seismic safety and energy efficiency. Additionally, we installed a photovoltaic system for electricity production, as well as a geothermal system to meet heating, cooling, and hot water needs.
The extensive garden, equipped with a barbecue area and a separate room, offers guests the freedom to organize meetings and cookouts independently.
During the restoration, we considered the possibility of combining different rooms of the residence to easily create two separate apartments, each with a mini kitchen.
Each room is a tribute to the local history and culture, with names that arouse curiosity towards lesser-known aspects of Bologna. We have made the history available in different languages, including Bolognese, so that our curious guests can discover unusual and little-known aspects of our beautiful city.
