In the historic center of my beautiful city of Arezzo is the CASA DI PIETRO ARETINO (where he was born), a professional family-run accommodation suitable to welcome you, your family and your friends: suitable for 4 people but can 8 guests. We are located under the residence of the famous GIORGIO VASARI (the architect of the Uffizi in Florence and author of the VITAE of the Italian Renaissance artists) and one step away from the stupendous Medieval / Modern Museum.
The HOUSE is large and spacious with the spaces overlooking a medieval roof garden of 350 square meters on the floor of the house: a large entrance area with two comfortable and Italian-made sofa beds, 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large kitchen equipped by real chef, a welcoming table, a fireplace to enjoy barbecues with friends, a garden with an outdoor sitting area to have breakfast barefoot in the grass or play freely and safely make it a corner of peace, relaxation and unique silence.
We are not yet organized to provide you with breakfast like that of normal bed & breakfasts but we can leave you the Italian coffee maker with ground coffee to give you a good awakening. There is a bar that brings breakfast home and is only 50 meters uphill from home: you can call it and book your breakfast there as you prefer or go down 50 meters and go to the food store to buy what you need and have fantastic sandwiches made with Tuscan salami: you can buy "Tuscan" saltless bread, Casentino ham and buy bottled wine from our CHIANTI area.

Hi, I'm Sara, a wife, a mother and an architect. The relationship with people is my favorite activity so I decided to open my CASA DI PIETRO ARETINO of which I took care of the restoration for the benefit of your holidays and your moments of leisure to visit my beautiful city, Arezzo, or do some day trips to Florence, Siena, Perugia, Cortona or Rome. I like to personally take care of the hygiene of the house (especially now with COVID 19) and give you the guarantee that you will find everything beautiful, clean, sanitized and fragrant. I will be directly to give you the keys and to explain the house rules. I like to laugh and help you find the solution to make your stay successful. I also like getting good feedback.
The CASA DI PIETRO ARETINO is located in the historic center of Arezzo: very close to the San Giuseppe clinic, the Duomo, Piazza Grande, the Fortress, San Domenico, San Francesco, the archaeological museum and the Roman amphitheater.
We are inside the ZTL limited traffic area. You can arrive with your car to load and unload the suitcases but there are some limitations to the entrance of the car: with 3. 00 euros I can give you the pass to circulate with your car in the center all day.
The station is about 900 meters away and in about 10 minutes you can get to the house: if there is rain I could even pick you up with my car.
If you arrive by plane, book your flight to Florence or Rome: in about 1 or maximum 2 hours you will be at home on the sofa.
This property guarantees cleaning and disinfection of rooms and common areas to WHO guideline standards (ita | eng)
