The B&B Cancabaia Parma is located in a 1600s stone courtyard on the first hills of Parma, just 15 minutes from the city center, yet immersed in a rural context. It is the perfect accommodation for those who want to sleep just steps away from Parma. At our B&B, guests enjoy a familiar and discreet welcome in a quiet and relaxed environment surrounded by the countryside. The Cancabaia is ideal for tourists, business travelers, families with children, and animal lovers who want to bring their pets with them during their travels. We have reserved a part of our home for guests, who have independent access to their rooms and freedom of schedule. Breakfast is served in a large room converted from an old stable. Guests can relax on the large terrace, chat, and enjoy the tranquility of the place. You can take walks in the surrounding woods and fields, visit the family's farm and discover how Parmigiano Reggiano, Parma ham, balsamic vinegar from Modena and Reggio Emilia, and wine from the hills of Parma are produced. The rooms were renovated in 2006, and currently, we have three double rooms and one triple room added in 2010. The furnishings are simple and comfortable, and we believe that our guests will feel right at home. Breakfast is varied and abundant, and you can taste our homemade jams made with organic fruit, homemade cakes, fresh bread, organic honey, milk, organic barley, seasonal fruit, typical local cold cuts, Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, and Parma ham. We welcome all those who travel with their four-legged friends: dogs and cats are welcome with prior agreement at the time of booking. Parking is available within the courtyard.
