Barisardo, a small town on the eastern coast of Sardinia, is located in a strategic position that easily allows you to reach the main cultural and scenic attractions of Ogliastra. Characterized by the scents and colors of the Mediterranean scrub, its territory is mostly untouched and boasts beautiful beaches. The symbol of the coastal area of Barisardo is the splendid Spanish Tower (Torre Barì), which dominates the entire coast from a small promontory. During the summer period, it is possible to admire its interior and it is often used for cultural events. In addition to the beautiful coast, our territory boasts a rich archaeological heritage with Domus de Janas and numerous Nuraghi; some of them can be visited after a short walk. Throughout the year, numerous events involve the entire population of Barisardo and attract thousands of people. You cannot leave Barisardo without first visiting the Parish Church dedicated to the Blessed Virgin of Monserrato, which is decorated with precious marbles inside.
