Camogli is a charming village located in the province of Genoa, in the Ligurian Riviera of Levante, protected by the territory of Portofino. It is easily accessible from the north via the A12 motorway towards Livorno, exiting at Recco. The center of the city of Camogli extends in the valley to the west of Mount Portofino and overlooks the Gulf of Paradise, at the western end of the Portofino promontory, on the eastern Ligurian Riviera, east of Genoa. Camogli is an integral part of the Regional Natural Park of Portofino, which includes most of its territory, while the water surface in front of the promontory is part of the Portofino Marine Protected Area.
