Hello, we are Daniela and Michele and we are thrilled to welcome you to Ca’ del Sol, our vacation home in the heart of Cagliari. Daniela is originally from Nuoro, the main city in the mountainous hinterland of Sardinia, while Michele was born in Venice and graduated in fine arts. After managing a hotel in Venice for seven years, we decided to slow down and dedicate ourselves to the world of travel and hospitality in a more personal way. We were fascinated by the beauty of Sardinia and in 2007 we decided to open the doors of our home to visitors. Ca’ del Sol is located on the second floor of the Palazzo Zamberletti, an authentic 19th-century architectural gem overlooking the Gulf of Angels, at the southern end of the Mediterranean. The property belonged to Daniela's family and has been carefully restored. Since then, Ca’ del Sol has become a meeting place for travelers from all over the world, who share their travel experiences and become our friends. Every new guest is an adventure for us! We chose the name Ca’ del Sol in honor of the Mediterranean sun that illuminates the house all year round, inspired by our motto "The more the sun shines, the happier I feel." We personally took care of every detail of the furnishings, creating a welcoming and familiar atmosphere. Moreover, thanks to our extensive network of local friends and colleagues, we can organize boat trips in the Gulf of Cagliari, off-road tours along hidden scenic roads, visits to the Sulcis geomineral park, bike tours for birdwatching in the natural park of salt pans or simply a day of relaxation on the Poetto beach in Cagliari.
