The owner welcomes visitors with friendliness and availability, providing useful advice and information. The strategic location of Pigneto, just 5 km from the historic center of Rome and well connected to public transportation, makes it ideal for vacations or business trips.

The B&B has 2 rooms, each with a private bathroom and internet connection. The bathrooms are equipped with a shower and hairdryer. Buongiorno Pigneto is located 15 minutes from Termini station (bus 105 metro laziali-pantano) and 10 minutes from Tiburtina station (bus 409).

Pigneto has a fascinating history, from an ancient estate of meadows and pines that became a railway goods yard. Today, the neighborhood is vibrant and trendy, with a variety of restaurants ranging from ethnic cuisine to fashionable ones. There are options for all tastes, from African cuisine to refined Japanese, Lebanese to Greek, and even flavors from Central America.

Pigneto has also been the setting for famous films such as Pasolini's "Accattone" and Rossellini's "Roma Città Aperta". Today, it is a lively place, inspired by a sort of reimagining of New York's Tribeca, with trendy restaurants and bars. Among these, Primo offers a chic dining experience with elegant decor and a cuisine of rich and inventive flavors. Santeria and Necci dal 1924 are also popular places to relax and enjoy delicious aperitifs.

Twelve years ago, when B&Bs were just starting to spread, I made a courageous decision: I chose to embark on the B&B management business. Despite my reserved nature, I displayed great initiative and embraced this adventure with enthusiasm. The driving force behind my decision was the attraction to the idea of being able to share hospitality, friendship, and fun moments with people from every corner of the world.

This job has proven to be demanding, yet extremely gratifying. Looking back, I can joyfully say that I am happy to have made this choice. The B&B has given me the opportunity to grow personally and create meaningful connections with many different people. Every day presents me with new challenges and growth opportunities, which brings me deep satisfaction. I am grateful for this experience and excited to continue offering my guests a warm welcome and an unforgettable stay.

Area Pigneto

The Pigneto is a popular neighborhood in Rome with a history dating back to the late 19th century and developing in the first three decades of the following century. This place is imbued with relationships and humanity and has been chosen as the setting for some of the most important Neorealist films and more. Iconic films such as Rossellini's "Rome, Open City" from 1945, Visconti's "Bellissima" from 1951, Loy's "Big Deal on Madonna Street" from 1960, and Pasolini's "Accattone" from 1961 found in the Pigneto an ideal setting to tell intense and authentic stories.

Today, walking through the streets of the Pigneto, one can still come across traces of those frames, as if they were carved into the shapes of the city. The neighborhood has maintained a suggestive atmosphere and represents an important piece of Rome's cinematic and cultural history.

But the Pigneto doesn't only live on memories. It has transformed into a privileged observatory of new urban dynamics. New cultural and artistic trends have come to life in this neighborhood, making it a lively and constantly evolving place. Exploring the Pigneto today means discovering a community that adapts to changes, welcomes new ideas, and keeps its unique and fascinating identity alive.
