Don Gaetano is a charming village of 18th-century trulli and traditional homes, nestled in the Apulian countryside among the districts of Monopoli. Ancient olive trees, carob trees, almond trees, and cherry trees surround this property, where the typical architecture has been carefully preserved, showcasing the authentic charm of old rural dwellings.
At the heart of the estate lies an 18-meter infinity pool, surrounded by greenery and featuring a relaxation area complete with a wooden roof, a large table, and sofas. The village offers various housing options, each with unique features. The trullo suite, which spans 115 square meters, is the largest accommodation and can host up to four guests. The casedda, an old farmer's house measuring 80 square meters, is perfect for a family, while the 60-square-meter trulletto, with its cozy and inviting atmosphere, is ideal for two guests but can accommodate up to four thanks to a sofa bed.
The outdoor areas of the village provide well-maintained spaces for relaxation, with tables, chairs, armchairs, and sun loungers available for guests, along with a shared laundry area. The tranquility of the surrounding countryside offers moments of pure peace, with sunrises and sunsets painting the landscape in stunning colors.
The buildings of the village, including the main trullo and smaller homes, are arranged around a spacious stone courtyard. Renovated by master trullo builders from Alberobello, they preserve the original limestone structure, the characteristic white cones, and the symbolic inscriptions that adorn these constructions. The living room of the main trullo, once used as a stable, still retains original architectural details and a large fireplace.
The main residence, a typical Apulian noble house, welcomes guests into elegant and refined spaces. The three double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, along with the living room and kitchen, are furnished with locally crafted furniture, creating an atmosphere that evokes the life of an ancient Apulian family and the allure of its traditions.
