Our agricultural company covers an area of 18 hectares, mostly contiguous and owned by our family for several generations. Here, we have created a beautiful olive grove that houses 500 young Leccino olive trees, with Pendolino as the pollinator. The olives are still handpicked and immediately taken to the mill to ensure that the olive's qualities remain intact and to obtain excellent quality extra virgin olive oil.
Some of our land is dedicated to growing corn, which we use to produce the Typical Flour of Lake Garda, the delicious polenta that you can taste here. Furthermore, we also cultivate alfalfa, highly appreciated by our Padenghe del Garda cattle breeding.
Starting from February 2018, we began planting a vineyard and soon we will also have our Macesina wine, in compliance with the production rules of the DOC of Garda.
The rest of our land is used as a meadow for hay production and for cultivating cereals, following the principles of proper agricultural practice. We are aware that the land is a precious asset that we must preserve for the future generations of our children.
Bedizzole is a strategic starting point for anyone wishing to experience and savor Lake Garda, Brescia, and its wonderful surroundings, as well as the many art cities in Lombardy and Veneto, without ever giving up the peace and tranquility typical of an ancient rural village.
Bedizzole is a town in the large and magnificent province of Brescia, which boasts a truly unique position and atmosphere. Its location makes it the gateway to Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy, with which it shares the climate and lively and dynamic atmosphere, but without all the traffic and crowds that characterize it, especially during the summer. Agriculture still plays an essential role in its economy, which explains the high level of preservation of this area, which is the last outpost of Valtenesi, the hilly area overlooking the shores of the lake in the province of Brescia. Additionally, there is the Garda Bresciano DOP extra virgin olive oil. From spring to the end of autumn, there are numerous high-level gastronomic events, including "Primavera-Il Profumo dei Chiaretti" (in Gardone Riviera at the end of May), the Agricultural Fair of Puegnago (at the beginning of September), and Profumi di Mosto (a gastronomic tour in the wineries of the area, held in October to celebrate the final stages of the grape harvest).
