Welcome to our accommodation, an ancient "Posta" which was once a horse exchange station for travelers in the 18th century. This historic building has been passed down from generation to generation and we are committed to maintaining it in the best possible way, offering you a warm and sincere welcome. The house is characterized by the presence of a large nail fixed in one of the wooden beams, probably used to hang horse harnesses. Its location, at the intersection of two important roads, confirms its historical origin as a horse exchange station. "A Corte Posta" is located northeast of Mantua, just 2 km from the historic center, which can be easily reached from the Mantova Nord exit of the A22 highway. The location of the property is perfect for those who love art and history, as Mantua is a city born from the waters of the Mincio River and has become one of the main centers of the Italian and European Renaissance thanks to the Gonzaga family. Our accommodation is also ideal for cyclists, who will find a safe shelter for their bike, as carriages and "birocin" were once parked. The view of Mantua is one of the most beautiful in Italy and will accompany you during your entrance into the ancient city, after crossing the fortress of "Sparafucile" and the bridge of San Giorgio.
