B&B Vista Mare
The B&B Vista Mare is conveniently located to reach all the beaches on the south coast of Maratea. It is situated just 700 meters from Santa Teresa Beach (which can be reached on foot in about ten minutes) and a few kilometers from the beaches of Agnola, Macarro, Illicini, Spiaggia Nera, Santo Janni, Calaficarra, and the wonderful La Secca Park. In the immediate vicinity, there are also bars, restaurants, and a pizzeria (which also offers take-out). We are always available to provide any type of information and/or support to our guests, especially regarding excursions, beach and restaurant reservations in the area.
All rooms have independent access directly from the outside (ensuring complete independence for our guests), a private bathroom, flat-screen TV, air conditioning, a hairdryer, and free Wi-Fi. Parking is free and located within the family's private property. We serve the classic sweet Italian breakfast. Pets are not allowed.
Marina di Maratea is a very peaceful coastal hamlet of the Pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea, not far from the Historic Center (9 km) and the enchanting Tourist Port (8 km), which are the two main gathering centers of Maratea. However, we also recommend our guests to visit the nearby region of Calabria: for example, Arcomagno is less than a 20-minute drive from the B&B. Praia a Mare and Marina di Tortora are less than 10 km away.

My paternal grandfather, who returned from Venezuela, opened a hotel in Cilento in the 80s, so I can say that I was born into the hospitality industry. Since I was 17, I have always worked in hotels, first in the dining room and then at the reception desk. For 8 years, I was the head receptionist at a hotel in Maratea, until my wife and I decided to leave our respective jobs to open our own B&B: Vista Mare Maratea.
Before embarking on this venture, we traveled a bit around Italy and Europe: Rome, Naples, Matera, Florence, Paris, Brussels, Prague, London, Madrid, and just over a month in Toledo. In addition to enjoying the destinations, we tried to understand the needs and expectations of travelers, and we will always strive to be available to all those who come to discover Maratea, always being by the guests' side without being intrusive.
