The bed and breakfast Villa Valentina is located in the charming area of Fiammenga, in Vicoforte. This panoramic area offers breathtaking views of the Mondovì square hill. Not far away, you will find the famous Sanctuary of Vicoforte, the largest elliptical dome in Europe, and the Mondovì square viewpoint, a panoramic tower located at the highest point of Mondovì.
The structure has recently been renovated on the second floor to accommodate a small bed and breakfast, while the owners live on the first floor.
Although the exterior still needs renovation work, the owners are making progress every day to do justice to this place, which has been neglected for years.
The area is very interesting from a tourist point of view: the town of Mondovì hosts an annual hot air balloon race and a craft fair, as well as the Vicoforte sanctuary fair.
You cannot miss the cable car that connects the lower and historic part of the city to the upper part, where you can visit Piazza Maggiore, the ceramic museum, and the bell tower that offers a panoramic view of the city.
For shopping lovers, the Mondovicino shopping center is only a 10-minute drive away. If you prefer nature, you can reach the Bossea caves in just 20 minutes by car. For hiking or cycling enthusiasts, the "landandè" route is an excellent choice. Finally, for winter sports lovers, the ski slopes of Prato Nevoso and Artesina are only 20 minutes away.
The breakfast provided is of the continental type and can be enjoyed at your leisure between 7:30 and 10:00 in the morning.
