Villa Taddea is located in the small mountain village of Baciardi (550 meters above sea level) in the valley of Rocca Leonella, on Mount Nerone, in the heart of the Umbro-Marchigiano Apennines, in the province of Pesaro and Urbino.
This place is ideal for those who love nature, animals, and tranquility. Trekking enthusiasts can enjoy magnificent trails of various difficulties or simply take relaxing walks. Two sports climbing gyms, Fosso dell'Eremo and Rio Vitoschio, are popular destinations for climbing enthusiasts.
In just 45 minutes by car, you can reach beautiful art cities such as Urbino, Gubbio, and Città di Castello.
To reach Villa Taddea, take the Rocca Leonella Provincial Road. Once you arrive, park your car and walk approximately 250 meters inside the village (comfortable shoes are recommended).
The breakfast we offer at the wonderful Villa Taddea is deliciously vegetarian and includes a wide selection of beverages such as tea, coffee, cow's milk or plant-based milk, fresh orange juice, and a selection of sweet and savory products from the local tradition, prepared with care and passion directly at home. Since 2005, I have been living in Villa Taddea and in 2008 I decided to open the doors of the old Bacciardi school, which until the 1970s housed the children of the village, to my guests. I am waiting for you to show you the beauty of this place and to share with you my passion for the mountains and nature.
We are in the beautiful region of Marche, precisely in the province of Pesaro and Urbino, at an altitude of 550 meters above sea level, in the heart of Mount Nerone that rises up to 1525 meters. This mountain represents the first imposing bastion of the central-southern Apennines, with a wealth of limestone, roughness, gorges, deep river valleys and caves. During spring, you can admire the flowers blooming in the meadows, while in summer you can enjoy the clear and persistent waters present in the wooded valleys. In autumn, you can admire the vast panoramas and during winter, the snow and frost will make everything even more enchanting. From Villa Taddea, you can easily reach by car numerous historical centers and places of tourist interest, such as Urbino, just 42 km away, Gubbio at 45 km, Città di Castello at 25 km and Florence at 150 km.
