Cefalù's beach is considered one of the most beautiful and famous in Sicily, while the Madonie Park offers numerous trekking and mountain bike routes. In Cefalù, there are some must-see sites such as the Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the medieval washhouse, and the Mandralisca Museum, which houses the famous Portrait of a Man by Antonello da Messina. In the surrounding areas, visitors can explore Castelbuono and Caccamo with their medieval castles, Petralia, Gangi, Geraci Siculo, Polizzi Generosa, Collesano, and go on excursions to Piano Battaglia, Pizzo Carbonara (1979 mt), and Madonna dell'Alto.
