Today, the ancient agricultural estate and its buildings have been renovated to relive the experience and traditions of a bygone era for visitors. Villanova is surrounded by greenery and offers a trail that leads directly to the beautiful Cinque Terre National Park, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1998.
If you prefer to enjoy the sea, in just 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot, you can reach Levanto, a charming village that offers many opportunities for leisure and entertainment. The Gulf of Levanto and its sandy beaches, both free and equipped, offer you numerous activities including the rental of canoes, windsurfing and small boats to explore the Cinque Terre coast.
From Levanto, there are also trails of particular interest, all well marked and suitable even for less experienced hikers. The various villages become stops on your journey and you can return to the starting point thanks to the numerous trains and boats that connect the entire coast. The boats are available from April to October and on weekends, they also reach Portofino and Genoa, where you can visit the largest aquarium in Europe.
