The B&B "Villa Il Respiro" is a marvelous 17th-century countryside residence, surrounded by ancient olive trees and transformed into a luxurious manor villa. Over the years, various restorations have been carried out, always respecting the original architecture and preserving the intact marbles, slates, stone walls, and woods used. These materials, combined with antique furniture, give Villa Il Respiro a tranquil and special atmosphere, ideal for unforgettable moments of relaxation.
Through a typical Ligurian staircase, one can access the Marina di Bardi beach directly from the garden. Located along the ancient Roman road that connected the coast to the inland, this villa overlooks the Gulf of Tigullio from a promontory. From here, one can admire on one side Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure, and Rapallo, and on the other Chiavari, Lavagna, and Sestri Levante.
Thanks to its central location, Villa Il Respiro allows for quick access to all the main locations in the Gulf of Tigullio.
The morning starts with a delightful breakfast that includes croissants, crispy slices of bread, a variety of jams, honey, and butter, accompanied by orange or pineapple juice.
For coffee lovers, we offer a choice of espresso, long or Americano, cappuccino or coffee with milk. Alternatively, you can opt for barley coffee or hot chocolate. For tea lovers, we have a selection of green or black tea, and you can choose from five different types of tea, served with milk or lemon. Upon request, we offer crispy toast.
Furthermore, you can enjoy biscuits with butter and jam, fresh yogurt, and orange juice. If you prefer something sweeter, we have croissants filled with cream or jam. All of this is accompanied by a splendid panoramic view.

The suite is a "family room" made up of two communicating double rooms, one of which is very large with a view to the east and west, the other a little smaller with a view to the east. The bathroom is immediately outside the room and is for the exclusive use of the guests of the room. Breakfast is usually served on the terrace or in the garden.
I have been running this bed and breakfast for nearly twenty years and I am planning to open another accommodation in the center of Genoa very soon. I am passionate about sailing, tennis, and golf. I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends. I love cinema, photography, music, and, of course, as a true Italian, I enjoy cooking and appreciating a good glass of wine.
In the vicinity of the facility, you will find several easily accessible beaches within walking distance or just a 5-minute drive away. Just 4 km away, you can play tennis or golf at the renowned Rapallo Golf Club. Additionally, in just a 15-minute drive, you can reach Santa Margherita Ligure and Portofino, two splendid destinations not to be missed.
