To reach Villa Albonico, you can only go on foot by climbing a short but steep staircase (via Ponte in Carate Urio) or by taking a short path that leads from the parking area accessible from the main road via vecchia Regina Teodolinda, turning onto via Domenico Bernasconi, to the entrance of the property.
