The breakfast room is located in the basement of Villa Alba, which has been restored from an old cellar to create a cozy and familiar atmosphere. It can be accessed both internally and externally through the garden. The buffet breakfast is served every morning from 8:30 to 9:30 and includes a variety of beverages such as milk, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, orange or pineapple juice. Additionally, you will find cereals, jams, honey, chocolate, toast, croissants, and much more. We are particularly proud to offer our guests Tuscan cold cuts and cheeses, delicious bruschetta with oil or tomato, and on special occasions such as Christmas and Easter, traditional Tuscan sweets as well. These are always highly appreciated by our guests.

"The Stella" Restaurant is one of the oldest restaurants in San Gimignano. It was established in the late 1800s as a trattoria and accommodation for the first foreign tourists visiting the city. For over a century, "The Stella" has been serving traditional Tuscan cuisine. The recipes have been passed down from generation to generation, without ever altering the proportions or ingredients. That's why the dishes still retain their authentic flavor today. "The Stella" Restaurant is located in the heart of the historic center of San Gimignano, just a stone's throw from Porta San Matteo, the city's north gate. If you choose to be our guests, you can enjoy our dishes in a welcoming, family-friendly, and historically-rich environment. In fact, the restaurant is housed in an ancient building dating back to the 1200s, and still preserves some of the original materials such as stones and bricks, as well as the ancient architecture with arches, vaults, and niches. This makes it unique and charming. In our menu, you can choose from dishes of traditional Tuscan cuisine, known as "cucina povera". But don't be deceived by the name, because it is rich in history and ancient flavors. You can savor our famous "Pappardelle al cinghiale", a handmade pasta with wild boar sauce flavored with garlic and rosemary. Or our renowned "Crostini toscani" with chicken liver and Vin Santo. You must not miss the "Ribollita", a soup with bread, beans, vegetables, and raw olive oil, served in characteristic Tuscan "coccini". And to conclude, the delicious "Cantuccini", cookies made with dough and almonds, to be enjoyed with Vin Santo, the sweet Tuscan dessert wine... and many other dishes made according to ancient recipes and with original ingredients. But the true ingredients that can never be missing are love and passion.
