The structure, which has served as a watchtower for the nearby Montechiaro castle since the fifteenth century, is located in the heart of the Val Trebbia.
The bed and breakfast is situated near the convenient services of Rivergaro and Travo, and is only 20 km away from the picturesque medieval village of Bobbio. The surrounding panoramic views, wide and evocative, also invite the less adventurous to pleasant walks and outdoor activities.

We were born in Salento and Monferrato. We are two young people, Donatella and Matteo, who met and fell in love in Emilia.
We have chosen to settle in Colli Piacentini, in Val Trebbia, a place that according to Hemingway is "the most beautiful valley in the world". This region is full of charm, history, natural wonders, and gastronomic delights that we would be happy to help you discover and appreciate.
Furthermore, there is also our adorable bloodhound Sissi, a true local treasure, who will win you over with her sweet eyes and soft velvet-like ears.

The B&B is located next to the majestic Montechiaro Castle, less than 10 minutes away from the charming Rivalta Castle and the picturesque village of Grazzano Visconti. The property is just 3 km away from the lively town of Rivergaro, where you can find all the necessary amenities such as supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies, banks, and even the fun "River Park" water park. A few minutes away are the banks of the Trebbia River, still untouched with its crystal-clear waters, offering a refreshing oasis during hot summer days. Furthermore, you can reach Bobbio, one of Italy's most charming villages, in about twenty minutes. Here, you can admire the famous "Devil's Bridge," the picturesque S. Colombano monastery, the museum, the castle, and numerous other interesting churches. Nearby, you will also have numerous opportunities for walks, hikes, and bike explorations.
