The Terre di Aveja B&B is located in the picturesque medieval town of Fossa, an ancient village in the Aterno Valley, known as Aveia dei Vestini during the Roman era. This structure is immersed in a wonderful green environment, surrounded by natural landscapes and places of great historical and artistic interest. It is located at the foot of the Sant'Angelo d'Ocre Convent (1242) and near the splendid Santa Maria ad Cryptas Church (13th century), the extraordinary Fossa Necropolis dating back to the Iron Age (9th-8th century BC), the largest in southern Italy, and the suggestive and spectacular Stiffe Caves.
The 4 rooms, available in single, double, triple, or quadruple formula, are furnished with a refined classic style that harmoniously matches the warm colors of the wooden ceilings, fixtures, and terracotta floors.
The traditional decor, meticulously cared for, varies in each room thanks to the use of fabrics and furnishings in natural tones (green, blue, and peach), making each room unique in its kind.
All rooms boast a balcony or a private view that continuously offers guests spectacular panoramas of the Aterno Valley and the majestic Gran Sasso on one side, and towards the suggestive cliff of the Sant'Angelo D'Ocre Convent that dominates the residence on the other. Guests can enjoy the crisp morning or evening air, mixed with the scent of flowers and surrounding vegetation, relaxing on comfortable wicker armchairs on the B&B's entrance terrace.
BATHROOMS - All rooms are equipped with exclusive bathrooms. Covered in ceramics with vibrant colors, they are spacious and complete with a large shower and bathroom accessories.
The Terre di Aveja B&B, located near the Sirente Velino Park, is in the center of the three main ski resorts in Abruzzo: Campo Felice, Campo Imperatore, and Ovindoli. Furthermore, it is the ideal starting point for mountain excursions and bike rides along the numerous cycle paths that cross the green countryside of the Aterno Valley.
