Thanks to the determination of Fernando De Lorenzis, the settlement of "Terenzano" has been brought back to life after years of abandonment. In the 80s, it was purchased to become a summer country residence, but later transformed into the "Terenzano Club," an exclusive restaurant, piano bar, and mega disco that hosted internationally renowned DJs and concerts by the most important Italian singer-songwriters. Today, it is a summer reference point for spending splendid evenings. Over the years, hundreds of Mediterranean plants have been planted, and the ancient tombs, the underground oil mill, and a monument of unknown origin have been safeguarded. These places have been cleaned and illuminated to make them accessible to everyone. The renovation work has transformed and incorporated the surviving parts of the old farmhouse. In the last ten years, the structure has been converted into a reception facility, and the first bungalows have been built on the ruins of the old settlement, always with attention to the preservation of the existing. Thus was born the Tenuta Terenzano. The Tenuta Terenzano is located 34 meters above sea level and 5 kilometers from the town of Ugento on the provincial road Alliste-Torre S.Giovanni. Here, suggestive traces of the past arouse curiosity and attention: a Roman-era settlement, tombs that have not yet revealed all their secrets, an oil mill already in use since the 18th century, and a strange stone monument placed in a singular tuff rock excavation, symmetric for depth and diameter. The stone bungalows, located in a Mediterranean garden and equipped with a veranda, come in two types: BED & BREAKFAST BUNGALOWS, double or triple rooms with bathroom, air conditioning, fridge, TV, breakfast included, and daily room cleaning, and RESIDENCE FORMULA BUNGALOWS, studios for 2/3/4 people with bathroom, equipped kitchenette, air conditioning, fridge, and TV.
