The Tenuta Margitello agriturismo is located on the hills of the Iblei Mountains, surrounded by the countryside of Ragusa, among characteristic dry stone walls and ancient carob, almond and olive trees. Located in a dominant position over the small town of Comiso and a few kilometers from the Baroque beauties, a UNESCO heritage of the province of Ragusa, it is the ideal place to relax immersed in nature and enjoy the tranquility of the countryside without being too far from the inhabited centers. Tenuta Margitello was created through the skilled renovation of a typical Ragusa farmhouse, where the owner's house towered over the courtyard of white basalt surrounded by the barns and warehouses used for agricultural activity. During the renovation, the original architecture and style were maintained, and the local stone, expertly extracted from the "Comiso quarries" located just a few kilometers away, was enhanced to recreate an atmosphere of ancient rusticity. The agriturismo is composed of two different buildings, about 500 meters apart. In the central building there is a restaurant, 4 bedrooms and a large panoramic terrace, while in the garden below there is a swimming pool with a solarium and a playground for children. In the annex, about 500 meters away, there are 14 bedrooms where you can enjoy more silence and privacy. All rooms are elegantly furnished with rustic-style furniture, equipped with TV, air conditioning, fridge, and private bathroom with shower. In addition to breakfast, daily room cleaning service is also included.
