The Stradivari B&B is situated in an ancient farmhouse in Cremona called "Cappuccina," which has always been owned and managed by the Vacchelli family. This complex dates back to the 1600s, and the recently renovated premises have been converted to accommodate guests. The owners' family still resides in the spacious main residence. The visible beams and rafters, terracotta floors, brick arches, and wall containment chains, enhanced by the restoration work, preserve the charm of rural architecture from the time of construction and bear witness to the local taste for building.
I enjoy interacting with people and I keep in mind every single guest who has stayed in my accommodation. As a psychologist and psychotherapist, I practice my profession in the study of my home, right next to my B&B. I divide my time between the two activities: at the B&B, I personally take care of welcoming guests and ensure that breakfast is of high quality, selecting only renowned and fresh products. I make sure that the property is cleaned and maintained daily, guaranteeing an efficient and comfortable environment that our guests have often praised in their comments. I am passionate about greenery: I have planted fig, apricot, persimmon, peach, plum, and peach trees in the lawn in front of the entrance, to offer visual and spiritual rejuvenation to those who, like me, cannot resist the beauty of nature.
In the vicinity of the B&B, you can find a beautiful church with a 15th-century monastery, painted by the main masters of Cremonese painting from the 16th century. Not far away, towards the city center, it is worth visiting the Lombard Romanesque Basilica of S. Michele Vetere. Around the area, among embankments and poplar woods, along canals and floodplain fields, a convenient cycle path extends for several kilometers, connecting the city to the great river Po.
