The Bed and Breakfast "Sot i volz" derives its name from the architectural elements that characterize the entire residential complex in which it is located, namely the arches and rib vaults dating back to the sixteenth century, which are well preserved and visible. These features are typical of Friulian civil architecture of that period. Guests have the opportunity to stay in some rooms of this house, originally owned by the ancient Somma family, which over time has become a small village with a courtyard enclosed by a wooden gate. The B&B consists of a room called "sot i volz", located on the ground floor, which is accessed through a charming atrium characterized by the presence of rib vaults. From here, you can access the sleeping area, which has three beds - a double bed and a single bed - bedside tables, a wardrobe, and a table with chairs. It is also possible to add a crib for children. Adjacent to the sleeping area, there is a room equipped with a sink and a refrigerator, as well as a private bathroom. The entire room is furnished in wood, with exposed beams on the ceiling, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Guests of this room can also enjoy the adjacent reading and relaxation room, which is characterized by unique and exclusive elements that allow guests to immerse themselves in the history and life of Carnia in the past. The B&B is managed by the De Colle-Di Ronco family, who have been residing in the residential complex for several years.
