The Sentieri sul Mare guesthouse is located inside the ancient baker's house in Manarola, just a few steps away from the charming San Lorenzo church, in the upper part of the picturesque village of Manarola.
Thanks to its strategic location, our guesthouse offers a peaceful stay without sacrificing the convenience of being close to the center and all the various shops and services of the village.
The property is only 300 meters away from the train station and 500 meters from the sea, just a 10-minute walk from the harbor, from which ferries depart daily to visit the Cinque Terre and other beautiful locations along the Ligurian coast.
Furthermore, it is an ideal starting point for hiking enthusiasts: right in front of the property, you will find the main trails that connect Manarola to Riomaggiore and Corniglia, as well as other famous excursions in the Cinque Terre National Park.
The guesthouse offers three types of accommodation: a two-level apartment with a panoramic terrace, a double room with a separate entrance, and a mini apartment. All accommodations are equipped with linen, private bathroom, heating, and air conditioning to ensure maximum comfort during your stay.
I am a young adventurer who loves to travel and discover new people and cultures different from mine.
I am incredibly lucky to call one of the most enchanting and characteristic places in the world my home: the Cinque Terre.
Therefore, I have decided to seize this opportunity and share the wonder of my territory with others. I have started a cozy guesthouse, with the aim of hosting travelers from every corner of the world. I want to meet them, introduce myself, and above all, help them discover the beauty of the places I love through my valuable advice and experience.
To reach the beautiful village of Manarola by car, you will need to pass through La Spezia (exit the highway if coming from that direction). Follow the signs for the Cinque Terre and take the coastal road that will lead you to the various villages. Once you have passed Riomaggiore, you will find a small roundabout indicating the direction to Manarola. Like all the villages of the Cinque Terre, Manarola is a pedestrian zone, so you cannot enter the historic center by car. It will be necessary to park your car in a paid parking lot outside the village (about 300 meters from the structure) or, a bit further away, in a free parking lot along the access road to the village. Pay close attention to the road signs to avoid hefty fines. During peak season, it may be difficult to find parking due to the influx of tourists, so it may be advisable to visit the Cinque Terre by train instead of by car. From the parking lot, walk down to the village along the main road; shortly after passing the entrance to the village and before reaching the church square, on your right you will find a small stone bridge. Cross the bridge and you will arrive on Via dei Molini; take the road on the left and, after climbing a few steps, you will find the Sentieri sul Mare structure at number 19.
Alternatively, you can reach Manarola by train using the main railway stations that lead to the Cinque Terre. Once you arrive at the station, walk through the tunnel connecting the station to the village and take the road on the right (via Discovolo) to reach the church of Manarola. When you reach the church square, continue along the main street for a few meters until you find a small stone bridge on your left. Cross the bridge and you will arrive on Via dei Molini; take the road on the left and, after climbing a few steps, you will find the Sentieri sul Mare structure at number 19.
If you prefer, you can also reach Manarola by sea using the ferry service that connects the Cinque Terre to the cities of La Spezia and Levanto. Once you arrive at the marina of Manarola, take the main road that will take you to the top of the village, until you reach the church of Manarola. When you reach the church square, continue along the main street for a few meters until you find a small stone bridge on your left. Cross the bridge and you will arrive on Via dei Molini; take the road on the left and, after climbing a few steps, you will find the Sentieri sul Mare structure at number 19.
