The Via Francigena, a historical route that leads from Canterbury to Rome, represents a significant itinerary. In the past, hundreds of thousands of pilgrims crossed it during their journey to the Eternal City. Today, the Via Francigena also passes through the Sant'Ansano Agriturismo. Our guests will be welcomed by a splendid panorama that changes according to the seasons: from green hills and blooming meadows to gentle golden expanses of wheat.
Inside the family-run Raggi farm, cereals, legumes, and sunflowers are cultivated. Our guests can enjoy a charming stepped pool, equipped with sun loungers, umbrellas, showers, and a sunbathing area. Additionally, there is a barbecue available for enjoyable outdoor grilling, and long walks can be taken along the marked trails. The green garden surrounding the Agriturismo allows guests to spend moments of complete relaxation, immersed in the tranquility and serenity that characterize the farm.
The completely renovated farmhouse consists of four apartments and one double room. All accommodations are furnished with Tuscan-style furniture and equipped with all necessary amenities, such as satellite TV, dishes, linens, and autonomous heating.
In the morning, you will be delighted by the scent of homemade cakes and cookies prepared by the hostess, Rosanna, who will welcome you in the breakfast room to start the day off right.
You cannot miss a visit to Castiglione d'Orcia and Radicofani, famous for their imposing fortresses, as well as the thermal towns of "Bagni San Filippo" and "Bagno Vignoni," where the warm waters chase away stress and restore inner harmony.
